What I do:


I offer a reliable, fast-response language service tailored to your needs. Translations from Spanish, French and Portuguese into English.

 
I am committed to developing and expanding on my existing knowledge through continuing professional development, and in order to achieve this I regularly attend courses and also try to maximise exposure to my source languages and specialist fields.

My experience:

 

  • Several years’ experience as an in-house translator, translating and revising legal texts

  • Substantial portfolio of freelance work in legal translation, including court documents, police reports, contracts and company documents

  • Pilot studies and planning documents for international NGOs and charities

  • Press releases and promotional material for major international corporations, international trade fairs and exhibitions

  • Corporate literature and website material

  • Tourism brochures

 

My qualifications:

 

  • MA in Translation and Linguistics (Westminster University).

     

  • BA (Hons) in French and Spanish (Cardiff University).

     

  • Professional accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI)1.

 

 

What I don't do:

 

I do not offer interpreting.
